While there are many benefits to breathwork therapy there are certain risks to the technique of which you should be aware. Always talk to your doctor before beginning any breathwork therapy, especially if you have a medical condition or take medications that may be affected by the practice. This includes if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have breathing or cardiovascular issues, have high blood pressure, a history of aneurysms, osteoporosis, severe psychiatric symptoms & vision issues.
